TWC supported Inuit Tapiriit Kanatami, the national organization representing Inuit in Canada, on a multi year initiative focused on understanding cost of living and poverty within Inuit Nunangat. The project brought together socio economic research and collaborative analysis using Statistics Canada Market Basket Measures process modified to reflect unique northern living conditions to support Inuit led priorities around poverty reduction and well being.

Working alongside Impact Economics, TWC contributed research and analytical support to help define Inuit perspectives on basic living needs, family income, and cost of living across representative regions. This work helped inform a clearer understanding of the factors influencing poverty and the pathways available to address it. Through careful data analysis, testing, and knowledge sharing, the project supported informed planning, strengthened organizational capacity, and provided a foundation for future discussions around income, affordability, and meaningful measures of success in Inuit Nunangat.

We aim to attract great people and to pull together the very best project teams on behalf of clients and communities. We search for those with deep technical expertise and a quality orientation, who lead with something more than their professional skills. It matters to us that TWC team members are both skilled and kind. We want our team and new hires to sense there’s something special happening here, and to feel: I’m a part of it.
